Check out this amazing party put together by one of our ex-Pixies, Tracey to celebrate her joint birthday with her bestie Carolyn. Their ‘Staying Alive’ 70’s Disco theme was inspired by Studio 54 with a twist… welcome to Studio 45!

The balloon wall was a great photo backdrop & really set the scene:

Lots of hours spent scouring the 2nd hand shops resulted in a fabulous 70’s album cover photo back drop:

It’s not a disco party without a disco floor which was made by Tracey and her hubby and a few cans of neon spray paint!

Tracey & her hubby were excited to showcase the bar that they made & painted … lots of love, sweat & tears went into this & we think it was well worth the effort – amazing job! The filled acrylic sign and drinks bucket was hired from us and we customised the Bar sign with a decal to fit the theme.

Check out all the 70’s inspired food! You can’t have a 70s party without prawn cocktails and asparagus rolls. Tracey used our mini catering cubes and wooden cocktail forks to make the prawn cocktail appetisers, and the black serving tray from our hire range was fantastic for serving the food:

The mirrored cupcake stands were a huge hit for the disco themed party. Not only for cupcakes but for the disco floor coloured vodka Jell-O shots as well.

And whilst not exactly 70s, no party is complete without donuts. The donut wall was from our hire range and the donuts were blinged up using our edible silver Cachous sprinkles

This was Tracey’s first attempt at icing a cake – a dance floor and records around the base of the cake. The silver number cake toppers and candles certainly helped make the cake look great. And it was displayed on the black cake stand from our hire range.
